You are trying to install Windows 7 on relatively old hardware and there is no support drivers for your systems hardware.Īs stated before, Microsoft does not write any of the hardware drivers for any third party hardware. This goes back to needing hardware drivers from the manufacturer. I have to read on a different machine, transfer to a flash drive, and then transfer back to the upgraded machine. The machine and drive still work, but for large amounts of data written to a dvd, like everything I backed-up, it wont read. This means that I might pay to find out that there is no driver available. They don't show Windows 7 as an option for the NX860X downloads.įurthermore, as the computer is out of warranty, they want to charge for tech support as far as I can tell.
